The son of one of my customers had plugged her external hard drive into his Xbox, a crisis in the making. Not only had it wiped all of her precious data, it had taken the drive back to it’s raw form, needing to be initialized and formatted before it could even be viewed. Fortunately she brought it in to the office before using it again. I told her to keep fingers crossed and after a 8hr overnight scan I was able to recover 731Gb. The look of relief on her face is what makes my job so worthwhile.
